Buy a roller by dimension and durometer and you have specified maybe a third of what determines whether it holds. What is missing is everything your process actually does to it: the heat it sees, the chemistry it touches, the speed and load it runs under, and the tolerance the product downstream is relying on.

That is why a vendor who can’t name the positions on your line can’t engineer for it either. A cleat roller and a squeegee roller aren’t sizes. They are jobs, each with its own failure mode. We start every conversation from the position and the process, not the part number.

What industries do you make rollers for?
We engineer rollers for printed circuit board manufacturing, battery and EV electrode calendering, tissue and towel, advanced materials and composites, adhesives and tape, robotics and warehouse automation, agriculture, and additional precision and continuous-web processes including solar, converting, and food processing.
My industry isn’t listed. Can you still help?
Usually, yes. The common thread isn’t the industry, it is the requirement: a roller your line depends on, running to a tolerance that matters. If that describes your line, tell us what is failing and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.
Do you make food-grade or FDA-compliant rollers?
Yes. We formulate food-grade compounds for tissue, towel, and food-processing applications where the application requires it.
Can you match a roller for a machine you’ve never worked on?
Yes. We reverse-engineer from a worn roller, a spare, photos, or a sketch, with no print required, and produce an approval drawing you sign off on before we build. See Engineering.
Do you work with OEMs or end users?
Both. On OEM equipment builds we typically work with design engineering and purchasing. On installed equipment we work with process engineers, maintenance, and plant teams doing replacement, refurbishment, or a redesign of a position that keeps failing.
How do I know which roller position is causing my problem?
That is what the free roller evaluation is for. An ABBA engineer assesses the positions in question and gives you a report with picture and dimensional evidence of what is worn and what to do about it.
